if it's going to be a gokin for sure, i will consider it. if it's going to be part of the robot spirits series (code geass, gundam 00, etc) based on what i learnt from news elsewhere, then i am giving it a miss.
I am not sure if this is the same item in this pix
If it is, then it is by Max Factory and should be in the same league as the dragonar
Understand that Tamashi Nations is a BANDAI event, hence the product will be by bandai.
As charles mentioned; will the rumours be true that it will be a 'Bandai Spirits' upcoming or a Soul of chogokin release?

bandai's big-o is 22cm, shorter than maxfactory's proposed 30cm.
however, i am glad bandai is making it, unlike maxfactory that claimed to release news of it in 2008 but we have heard nothing till mid 2009.
i jus hope bandai produce big-o with more diecast content. it will defeat the purpose if they make him mainly plastic.

I thought all were to be included in the package when you buy GX-48.. stupid bandai

Not really obvious when I was looking at the pics that the newer set was "extra" exclusives. I thought they showed in detail what the Big-O would come with
But i get what you mean now..
Anyone getting the expansion set? I still can't figure out why it costs so much...

i am getting 2 sets of it. pre-ordered from one of the 2 local shops that has already released the order for this piece.
in japan alone it costs 6300yen (SGD98). this is an online exclusive. no wholesale price is offered. anyone who wants has to pay the full price for it.
considering the shipping charges added to bring this in, i'd say the price offered locally is fair.
Although the O Thunder hand looks fixed, I'm hoping it does come with some mechanism to pop it open from a closed forearm position.

Glad I decided to get the expansion set... but to me its the most expensive add-on accessory.
