I am relieved to see they still produce games for PS2.. More WWF Legend characthers please! and more storylines!

Thought of buying 07, then 08 came out, havent buy yet 09 coming haha.

Hopefully it will be better than SvR 2008..... That one was a disappointment...

but the good thing abt SvR2008 is that u can use hack to unlock NPC which i like that the most !

okay guys... SvR2009 had been released on PSP!!!! PSP SvR fans.... GO GET THEM NOW!!!! am downloading it now...

PS3 and Xbox release today too. Gonna try and get the limited edition with blue ray and steel cage packaging later. Apparently there was some launch show at Cinieleisure on Sat.

anyone noes how to use Jeff HArdy's finishing move (jump from top rope n do a somersault n land on his back)... i only managed to do twist of fate and whisper in the wind....

Btw, i use Undertaker vs Ashley..... Ashley can actualy bodyslam Taker..... and at the rumble, rey can throw Khali over the top rope all by himself... what a joke...

ANd the female wrestlers look so ugly n unreal..

Anyone knows the control to throw people outside, like in the inferno match or royal rumble?

I am having difficulty with that as well with the tables match.

for swanton bomb, press triangle on the top rope with opponent lying face up on the mat
that should do the trick... works on ladders n even out of the ring

for inferno, use the strong grapple (up R3 + holding R1) n drag opponet towards the rope
it only works if hes beaten down
hmm the throw pple out, gotta use the strong guys (such as batista), using (left R3 + holding R1), then up again... this should be done near the ropes...

theres a pretty big learning curve for this version, still trying to figure out lots ha

Being a big WWE fan, I'm still considering if I shd get this game.. After playing the game on my friends PSP, I'm tempted to get the PS3 version... Is it worth getting guys?

Same here. The average PSP reviews have kinda stopped me from getting it for now. i only got PSP. Will only get it much later or when really bored.

hmm.... i will say.... the road to wrestlemania features is fun but then.... there is only 1 legend in the game which is Ric Flair...

I caved in and bought the game earlier today! Its definitely better than the 2008 version... Really love the road to Wrestlemania mode.. They shd make the season mode that way for every superstar.. The graphics looks great too.. And pressing the R2 button (for the PS3) to spin the belt during Triple H's entrance is a nice subtle touch from THQ... I gotta go try the inferno match now..

Now if only the Playstation Network has the content to download additional superstars to the roster such as Evan Bourne etc..

No man, get either the PS3 or XBOX 360 version... Mine is the PS3.. The graphics are way better and much more realistic.. Plus you can play online! Don't think there is online mode in PS2's version..

I remembered playing it on my friends PSP, there was no commentary during the matches.. Instead, music will be played in place of the commentary, which I found very odd.. Wonder if its the same for the PS2..

Imran bro hows the control for SD Vs Raw 09 man? Hahah I dont know others but 08 one was kinda messy man!!!

I barely played my SvR 08, can't remember how the control were for that.. But the controls for the 09 is definitely much better, I have no problems with it.. Otherwise I won't be having fun playing through the Road To Wrestlemania mode There are plenty of moves with different button combinations.. I'm already getting used to the controls after playing it a few times, but I'm sure there are still a lot more button combos that I have yet mastered..

I really love the highlight reel. You can save the instant replays of your matches.. I just saved a replay of Cena doing an FU to Y2J through the announcers table... But is there a way to upload it online?? I want to put it up at YouTube or something..

I like it bro, its quite fun. even when playing with com. if you're wwe fan, already should get it. but the real fun is when play with friends, multiplayer.

problem with this game is, tends to spoil the controller, cos must smash buttons, especially the shoulder R2 and L2 buttons (for countering.) my 2 cents.

Played it for awhile. Definitely better than SVR2007 and 2008, thats for sure.

Though there is a few things that I don't like, which is the removal of moves every year. I mean, to be a wrestling sim, I believe that variety of moves are important. Also, Umaga is missing his elbow pads and wrist/hand tapes. Which I have no idea why.

Oh well, I'm sure that quite alot of moves are still on the disc, for example SVR2008, Benoit's crossface and diving headbutt is hidden. Thats why I didn't go for next gen version so I could hack my game.

Bro, is there anyway can share your option file? hehe. then I can start using those unlockable characters immediately. what are the extra players you unclocked btw? I only use those enter passcode kind, so unclocked ric flair etc.

Anyone knows how to copy the opponent's finishing maneuver on the PSP console
Cause I am playing road to wrestlemania mode using batista and I can't copy edge's maneuver I try until want to rip my hair out anyone can teach me how to do it

Comparing 08 and 09, which is better and why, will be thankful for comments.

Finally got the game, lol the road to wrestlemania mode was so entertaining that my wife who wasnt interested in wrestling was so amused by the storyline (John Cena) and urged me to play. The stupid make MVP bleed quest so super irritating, the bugger keep running off. Hmm next probably will play Triple H.
