Hi,
does anyone collect chinese comic figures/Statue? Very seldom see form comic shop. Last time used to see Feng Yun or Hua Ying Xiong plastic model in shops. Anyone come across chinese comic figuring around recently?

What you need to do if you want to buy a Chinese Comic figure/ statue is to follow the comic closely. Whenever they intend to release a product, they will surely talk about it in the issues, which is when you should visit your comic shop and ask them to order for you. Most shops won't bring them in if there's no one ordering.

Rite. I guess chinese comic figures r not as widespread. Thus production is quite limited n retaliers dont really want to bring in alot.
a wu ming statutte or figurine would be so cool....

Ya. A return or reborn of hua ying xiong with a new look wld be nice too.

They do have that. They're also gradually releasing a 风云武者 series, capturing the characters in the comic in their classic poses. According to my friend who bought them, however, the quality is very bad. They only look nice on the advertisement pages.
They also released a special edition a set of 风云武者 figures during the recently concluded comic festival. All the same figures with additional accessories or slight changes in pose/ sculpt.
The 龙虎门 comic festival figures are very well made. I've got some scans and pictures on this page.
anyone know where is ma hua jin tia(translate to comics classics in english) at chinatown area?? heard they carry some of these figures??
