Looks sweet but the scale of this model still intrigues me.. Early unconfirmed reports placed the Xabungle at roughly 10-12cm in height...

When I first saw the anime artwork of Xabungle, it struck me as a ugly and bulky robot design.. Never had I expected Bandai to refine the design to such a professional level. SOC collectors had initially dismissed Xabungle as uninteresting and unexciting but now that looks set to change..

what really worries me is the scale of the model. If I'm not mistaken , Xabungle will be smaller and shorter than most of the SOCs'. It will look utterly out of place with my SOC collection..
However, it might complement the 1/144 scale gundam models.

I am confident that, with the release of Xabungle, Bandai will proceed thereafter to release more robots in the Dougram line...
can u imagine a Dougram. wow.

Xabungle is supposed to be smaller. This suggests that there will be an SOC for the big red robot (the one with the legs that split in two).

looks like xabungle will only be released in late August 2005. That means the current SOC releases will be abt 2 mths apart. Gaiking in early May, GX-04S reissue in July. gd for us. if not really dry up like crazy man!

Well, the first blueprint of Xabungle indicated that GX-28 will have a height of 105mm which is incredibly short for a SOC product...However, the blueprint is rather old and changes could have already been made to the product...

actually, i find it quite hard to believe you can get that much articulation out of a combiner that's only 10cm tall...

Tsk..

.Xabungle isn't really a combiner. It's more of a transforming model.
And GX-28 comes with not one but 2 models, Xabungle and Broccoli.
Lastly, Xabungle(6800-7400yen) is expected to cost even less than Gaiking(9000+yen)... If you take these into consideration, it is quite possible that Gaiking might only have a height of 105mm.. Remember Zambot Ace(GX-23A) ?? It' short(!) but it's poseable and comes loaded with accessories.
If you don't believe me, just search the web... There are numerous sources out there referring to the size of Xabungle....

I just pre-ordered my Xabungle and the selling price of GX-28 is in 2 digits(board regulations, cannot name the exact price

)... I was taken aback by the low cost of GX-28. Of course, the product is still months away from release so there could be changes to its' price tag just like what happened to GX-27(GX-27 initially cost 6800yen but bandai later rised its' price to 9000+yen). Let's hope that Xabungle remains affordable.
Well, Kane, I was a little too harsh with my comments. Sorry.

Xabungle may not be popular with most of the SOC collectors but nonetheless, I believe that diecast collectors with eventually come to accept its' unique design.
