What is the yen price for this 2.5 kg baby?

Damn exp man,

Neo Optimus Prime
weng, mind revealing the price for your heavy buy? should have no issues becos no one sells it locally. e

if u want the great mazinger, can approach uncle ng. he brings in daigokin only if his customers request for it.
varas
its a long and hard road to collect the mazingers now as all price are as obsence as XXX shows...

And to complete the entire collection, there's 6 edition to collect..
Normal,Normal with color varient, black, TrUs , silver , gold.

But I just simply love the TrUs edition.. rock.gif

daigokin collectors are hard-hard-core... remember how you described that most people won't go more than $400... well looks like you've entered another league in chogokins...

my daigokin mazinger is now displayed in my office beside my IN-OUT tray.

I caught my secretary using my daigokin as a dumbbell to train her biceps. She says she's been looking for 2.5kg dumbbells for some time, and there is now no need for her to go to gym. I dunno whether to laugh or cry.
kane
you're displaying that in your office? heh...

yes, i always fancied them as handy weights training replacements for ladies...

i find the pose for great mazinger a little stiff. i'm happy to just settle with my mazinger...
artspraken
i'm saving for grendizer and passing on the great maz
kane
the arms of grendizer looks a little... lacking...

marmit hasn't got a great mould for grendizer but they have a kick ass mould for Gaiking... if they continue this line, Gaiking's probably next... provide the skip the likes of Jeeg and Getter cos the have the moulds for those as well...
artspraken
with this amount of diecast, marmit does not need mould, articulation, accessories, packaging or marketing to sell the daigokin series.

marmit know that there are people out there who will pay insane amounts for the feel of that cool heavy precious feeling...ahh
kane
how did it feel like having to use two hands to handle this thing?? devil.gif

well...at 2.5kg my arms feel tired holding it.

the daigokin black mazinger is a good alternative to the GX-01RB though. dun think i want to buy any more mazingers after this.
kane
tiring eh? heh...

it'll go well with a GX-01B at the foot of it. ng used to display it that way. one big one and one small one...
artspraken
Daigokin Great Mazinger is difficult to resist. The box says it is 3.5kg !!! (hk toy collectors have weighed it to be 3.78kg !!! That makes it more than 1kg heavier than the Daigokin Mazinger I am holding in my hands now. That is unimaginable!!! I gotta liquidate all my personal effects just to buy it...

i dun think uncle ng got GX-01RB
kane
he has a GX-01B, that's the black variant of the original GX-01.

Daigokin Great Mazinger is the heaviest, because it beats Daigokin Mazinger by a whopping 1kg! compare the 3.5kg versus 2.5kg on the box!

gone crazy over daigokin? devil.gif
artspraken
ben, this is serious s**t man. Great MAz is 3.5kg! That is ridiculous! With Maz at 2.5kg I am already on high. At 3.5kg the feeling is unfathomable. At 3.5kg, the Great MAzz must be SOLID diecast???

With Daigokin who needs chogokin?
artspraken
okay...got the yen price of the Great Maz

graduating from SOC someone? no la, these are good to put at the back of the display cabinet as the towering "pillars". but they're not very poseable... that's a slight downside...
artspraken
hey its 3.5kg! you dun need articulation. its almost like a statute
kane
that's true, it makes a good self-defense weapon.
kane
you know something... CAN YOU STOP POSTING THESE FANCY PICTURES!!! wallbash.gif wallbash.gif wallbash.gif

i can feel my wallet suddenly lightening...
eXistenZe
ur shelf had better be strong enough to display this baby along with the other SOCs...haha...i wonder if a tempered glass shelf is strong enough.. laugh.gif
kane
honestly, i don't think so unless you have super thick glass... can display on my study table... biggrin.gif
artspraken
i brought my daigokin home today. too many people in office kept playing with it.
kane
better wipe off all the oily finger prints...
artspraken
if you closely examine your daigokin mazinger z, or every pic of the same, you will realise one flaw:-

the pilder on every daigokin mazinger is slightly tilted towards the left of the mazinger, and is not situated in a central position on the head.

look carefully at all the pics here. heck. just look at my avatar.

at first i thought it was a defect on my piece. later i looked at the pic on my box and realised it was a design flaw. then i saw all the pics on the internet and realised every one is the same
kane
never examined my mazinger so closely... hmm... probably go check it out later...

kane
i bet, it's going to be 4.5kg. hahaha... then Gaiking will be 5.5kg!! lol...
artspraken
at this rate i am going to be bankrupt

marmit took 4 years to produce Great Maz Daigokin after announcing it

so it should take another 4 years for Grendizer Daigokin to appear
kane
erm, from mould to final product takes about 1-1.5 years.

the mould for great mazinger came out early last year... devil.gif
artspraken
oh...i thought mazinger was in 1998, so it took more than 5 years to come up with great maz.

so marmit is gathering steam on the daigokin line?
kane
what do you think?? devil.gif they can't let Bandai milk all our money with SOCs leaving nothing for themselves right?

besides, they have done the plastic range for all the main characters. shape is out. just need to identify the area for screw joints to whole the monster together...
artspraken
read bottom of this article
kane
that my friend is the first mazinger, notice the darker blur shade for the arms and legs...
