Looks like this one's based on the OVA version mazinkaiser.

The Mazinkaiser from SRW (Which aoshima's based on) has four "wings" on its Fire Blaster plate instead of two. IIRC

Suprisingly, Bandai haven't made a single mazinkaiser chogokin yet...

i think the wings look wierd. i prefer the aoshima version.

ya. it does not look robotic enough. looks like ultraman. particularly the thighs. looks like fat thighs.

Yaps Aoshima versions looks alot better...with a touch of musculine and meaniness to finish it off.. Max factory..Wings looks funny..thighs a bit fat.."Work those thighs man" head sculpt looks a bit off proportion...and check out those shoulders.."Football player?"

Aoshima looks better than Maxfactory because it got more gleam which makes the diecast got more ooomphhh...The Maxfactory silver looks greyish and flat...not enough kick and reminds one of ultraman.

The Maxfactory thighs look fat, and the wingspan looks like tweetybird's compared to Aoshima's "Devil Wing".

I am definitely passing this and saving my munney for Aoshima Devil Wing.

If displayed alone, the Maxfactory will look good, but in comparison to the Aoshima is really looks lacking.

I better be careful with predictions lest I eat my words. But this updated picture from recent Wonderfest 2005 by Mr. Matt Alt of toybodx looks really fierce... I am starting to see a realistic possibility Max Factory may beat Aoshima...

Either way, Aoshima's Mazinkaiser better be careful...coz here comes Max Factory's version. If Max Factory is going to make this with diecast and style like the GGGG, I am sold as sin...

Still prefer the aoshima mazinkaizer...but look at max mazinkaizer..so many swords...hehe

seems like a total pvc figure to me. reminds me a lot of the yujin mazinkaiser that i have. very posable

the pic of it looks very slick... and the wings are pretty realisitically sculpt. would be even better if the wings were bigger.

yeah, the wings a tat small, compared to Aoshima's.
will wait for further reviews before deciding whether to buy

The price of mazinkaiser should be about the same as Maxfactory Genesic Gaogaigar. I do hope that Maxfaxtory will lower the cost for mazinkaiser though.

somehow, i find the head is... a little on the bigger side... but i wonder why they did the blue arms and legs? which isn't anime accurate...

I have heard that the design of Maxfactory Mazinkaiser is based on the latest Super Robot War game which Mazinkaiser is featured in, hence this could explain why it isn't 100% anime accurate.

Nonetheless, maxfactory mazinkaiser looks great though.

u r hinting that max factory is going for this cheapo stunt too right? well, hope not but from what they did with GGG coming up with a normal ver and an anime ver, i think they are likely to release 2 diff pieces than 1.

still, i hope for interchangeables instead.

Like the way Max Factory model their stands (not for Mazainkaisr, also GGGG), it makes their gokins look even better.

though the fact that Max Factory is doing Mazinkaiser shows that the licenses issued are not exclusive to Aoshima. So Its up to Bandai to acquire the license.

But the market is already saturated with Mazinkaisers. Seriously, I dun think its good to have a SOC Mazinkaiser. I'd much rather SOC R&D team spend their time doing a better GX-30 VoltesV
