Probably another baseless rumour. He already has players who can play the same position, i.e. Spearing, Henderson and Lucas.

Nah. They are adequately covered in central midfield. Charlie Adam and the U-18 captain, the promising Conor Coady can slot into central midfield also.

They are fighting on 3 or 4 fronts right?
Plus players' form, plus need for rotation / substitution...

I'm of the opinion that the pair of them (Fab and Nasri), along with the rest of the squad, have betrayed Wenger to a degree. For me, Arsene's dream was to go back to basics and do an Ajax with a mixture of foreign and British players who had come through the ranks. Then to win something and see the star players go against the grain of the modern game by staying loyal to the club and their team-mates due to having grown up together in the club.

Instead at the first sign of trouble, they pack up their tents and announce they want to go home or move in order to win things.

Wenger's project 1.0 fronted by Fabregas should just be written off. Time to embark on version 2.0 with Wilshere as the face. I think it's exciting that the likes of Szczesny, Gibbs, Wilshere, Ramsey, Frimpong, Jenkinson and Miyaichi could be the backbone of our team in the very near future.

KNN! It's really like fantasy football if the rumours are true and Wesley Sneijder is going to Man City.
