Konichiwa, here in Japan now and Shinjuku is just not the place for Lego, or Japan for that matter.

Just came across this. Simply awesome and 100% do-able with no mod. The tough part is to find a Dreamliner laugh.gif

The real deal

Yes I'm a big Technic fan! Bought this set from Metro Woodlands yesterday. Wasn't in my buying list because I prefer the more detailed tractor in 8063 from last season. But can't resist since it was on 40% discount!

Not sure if this is asked before. Can I check with you guys if there is anyway to customize or build fr Lego bricks to form a display stand?

Because I notice only the ucs sw Lego comes with stand and the rest don't. So all my TIEs and Landing craft end up displaying in parking mode. Any ways to improve this.

I tried google ard and even email Lego if we can buy those ucs stands but no reply.

Thanks

yes its possible.. you can make any stand or copy the official lego stand provided that you have all the parts that you need.

you would probably need a lot of technic lego parts and creativity and abit of engineering. happy.gif

Why don;t you build one from parts? There are instructions for UCS models available on lego.com or www.hccamsterdam.nl. You can even custom to fit your TIEs.

Straits Time LIFEstyle section today (on page 4) has an almost full page article on LEGO collection, and the increasing awareness of LEGO among adult collectors.

Nothing exciting, nothing new, but nice to read about fellow collectors, and the discussion of this hobby.
