Something quite interesting, news that "Hasbro has apparently ordered the recall of the entire Marvel Legends Series 1 from Toys R Us stores in the US" due to "poor sales"...

Marvel Legends Series 1 Recalled?

When toybiz were selling marvel legends at department stores, so many ppl were buying them but after hasbro started producing them instead, well, too bad that less n less ppl were buying hasbro ML. Anyway, I not only think that Hasbro Ml is bad, in fact, I think almost all of marvel toys that hasbro produce is bad.

dude.. get your facts right.. toybiz one were also clogging the pegs till they wont able to sell in retail anymore (starting from series 1..they stopped at some point.. and continued again....)...even now they are still clogging pegs for recent series (just go to msk and its still lying there...how many mths now?..not only local ones.. worldwide also... but of course not rampant.. since toybiz distributions pretty much suck.)... so again... toybiz doing better than hasbro? not really.

and i'm stressing "retail"..specialised shops have long sold out on ml figs.. BOTH toybiz and Hasbro ones.

but of course...hasbro sucks worst because of the fact that they up the price and that much has pretty hurts sales (again stressing retail side)... if they didnt.. i would think it would fare just as well as toybiz.

Ya... I think it's more about the pricing too.

Anywayz, recall what's the big deal...? Every wave has its pegwarmers... It's been like that for Toybiz too ain't it?

What're they gonna do with those figures? Recycle them? Pack them into 2 packs? The source said it is so that TRU cannot "mark the products down". Does that mean no $5 MOSCs for us...? Muahaha.

Its time Hasbro ask the collectors what they want instead of how to just make money. Actually, they go hand in hand. The more customer satisfaction, the more sales. Think Habro too into the mass...mass production, mass market...

I would really prefer hasbro to price down their ML rather than making two packs.
